Our Commitment
At Quarrionyzor, we take pride in our handcrafted scented candles and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
Your statutory rights: If you are a consumer (buying for personal or household use), the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) gives you rights that cannot be excluded. If goods are faulty, not of acceptable quality, do not match their description, or are not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund). This Return Policy is in addition to your rights under the CGA and other New Zealand consumer law. For faulty or defective goods, your CGA rights apply regardless of the time limits set out in this policy.
Return Eligibility
You may return candles purchased from Quarrionyzor within 14 days of delivery if:
- The candle is unused and unburned
- The candle is in its original packaging
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
- The candle was not a custom or personalised order
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Candles that have been burned or used
- Custom-scented or personalised candles
- Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
- Items returned after 14 days
Damaged or Defective Products
If your candle arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
How to Return
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at infocenter@quarrionyzor.world with your order number
- Explain the reason for your return
- Wait for our return authorization and instructions
- Package the candle securely to prevent damage during shipping
- Ship to the address provided in our return authorization
Return Shipping
For standard returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked courier service as we can't be responsible for items lost in transit. For defective or damaged items, we'll cover return shipping costs.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned candle, we'll process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that your bank may take additional time to process the refund to your account.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange your candle for a different scent, please follow the return process and place a new order for your preferred item. This ensures the fastest processing time.
